I've been a fan of Harvest Moon for years, and I wasn't entirely sure I would like this game. But, I'm also an RPG fan, so I decided to give it a try. The blend of farming/ranching/cooking and village relationships (all staples of Harvest Moon games) with fighting/capturing monsters, forging weapons/armor, and leveling up your character is pure genius. I was surprised that the fighting mechanic, though certainly simplistic when compared to some other RPGs, is actually quite good. The one aspect of the game that does become tedious is balancing the runeys throughout the village - a time-consuming process, but necessary in order to grow crops effectively. There is a lot to do in this game, and a lot of activities to balance, but the variety ensures that there will never be a dull moment!Get more detail about Rune Factory: Frontier.
