Discount Nintendo DS Game Card Case 16 - Black

This product is much more than expected. I use the nerf armor to hold my ds and 2 of these cases side by side are about the same size as the armor. The case is a great way to carry around 16 games in a pocket and there is no chance of them getting broken. It can absorb the shock of a typical 5 foot drop (slipping out of hands maybe) with no problem. Games are easy to get in and out quickly, but also stay in place once inserted. The case is much better than most all in one cases because it only has one purpose and it does that well. Also you can always read at least 8 of the titles from either the front or back of the case, the other 8 can be ready easily once the case is open. In my previous game case also made by Nintendo (a leather case that holds games and instruction booklets) it was hard to tell titles apart without first pulling out the game. For a DS case, there is really nothing that can stand up to Nerf Armor and although most cases can protect against scratches, they won't help if the ds is dropped. I have three of these cases to hold my assortment of games and after a few months they work just as well as when I bought them. This mouse is great. I put about half the weight included in this mouse and it has been doing wonders for me. I use with the Razer Destructor mousepads and so far it has worked better then my previous Razer and better then the last Logitech mouse I had. I like the fit in my hands and the mouse does not feel cheap at all. The way you can change the scrolling is a definate plus as well. I am suprised at the price around $49.99 because I would have paid $75 for this mouse. If you play First Person Shooters (FPS) give this mouse a try. Cheap Brutal Legend

I really enjoyed this games story the art direction and the soundtrack is the best I've heard in a video game. The gameplay on the other hand can get annoying. The reasons I think its annoying is that when I first started playing the game I thought it was a button masher, a little while in you find out it turns into a hybrid of several genres that didn't pan out that well. The real time strategy elements at best are clunky and at there worst are irritating. The driving part is my favorite the reason why is that I could listen to the awesome soundtrack. The story can be quite humorous, but it kind of loses its funny factor near the end. When it comes to the voice acting the character of Eddy Riggs seems to keep Jack Black's goofiness in check the part Tim Curry plays is great but he's barely in the game. A good chunk of the metal gods lends there voices to it aswell.

I wish I could give this game 5 stars but like I stated earlier the gameplay mechanics just hold it back. I finished the game in 15 hours and haven't played it since. I got a few games that I still want to beat. So bottom line is this game at sixty dollars its a rent but at thirty dollars its worth the purchase. After all this I still think its a good game but after playing it once you may not play it again except for the music.

Let's face it, there are tons of different music games out nowadays. Seems like every year 2 or 3 new games come out based around playing in a band or by yourself using an instrument. Even though this game is mostly just Rock Band with a new set of songs, this is the best deal around if you want a game of this genre.

I'll admit the song selection is a little on the lackluster side, but that's not the reason you should get this. You should get this because of three reasons. The first being that the world tour/career mode is probably the longest of any game of this genre's. There will even be the occasional online competition made available to you if all those playlists you have to go through didn't do it for ya. The second reason is variety. You'll find songs from the 60's up until today being played in the best form possible. There is something here for everyone in that respect. Finally, and most importantly, this game prospers from an immense downloadable content section on the Playstation Network. There are literally hundreds of songs to choose from, and considering each is only one or two dollars apiece, it's a much more cost-effective means of getting a hold of your favorite songs without having to spend $[...] everytime a new guitar hero comes out. Plus you're not getting a bunch of songs picked out by a bunch of monkeys in a room somewhere. You're choosing songs YOU want.

So if you don't have this game, and you're getting bored of Guitar Hero or DJ Hero or whatever other Hero you have...go on the Playstation Network and check out the content for this game. The list of songs will boggle your mind, and not only that, but you can import the songs from your Rock Band 1 game to play in this game...for absolutely free. Shop For Rock Band: Country Track Pack

We've had Rock Band 2 for over a year now and while I've played the occasional game, I never really got into it as much as the rest of the family.

That all changed when the Country version came out - This one is great and a lot of fun. Country music fans will surely not be disappointed. There are some familiar favorites on there as well as some new ones that I've never heard before, and I considered myself a big fan of the genre. They all had a great beat, and as a Rock Band novice, I really appreciated the tutoring offered and the way you can progress in the game.

Like other Rock Bands, there are four levels. Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. I could maneuver through all 21 songs on both Easy and Medium, but there seems to be a big jump from Medium to Hard. I kind of lost interest because I have the handicap of not having the reflexes of my 15-year-old daughter and not having the sixth finger needed to properly play with all five buttons.

I gave it five stars with a couple of reservations - The game was a little off and it was hard to calibrate using the provided calibration tool. We eventually got it to work, but even my 15-year-old who works her way through expert says that the notes still seem to be a little off. Admittedly that could be the guitar that has gotten quite a bit of use.

Other than that this is exactly what we wanted and exactly what we thought we were paying for. If you even remotely like the Rock Band concept and you like country music, you should be able to be entertained with this Track Pack. I'm just a bit disappointed it didn't come with a banjo - that would have been fun.

I think the Wii Fit is a lot of fun and an easy way to get some exercise without realizing you really are! It's easy to figure out how each "exercise" works, has a decent amount of choices and levels and can be used by just about anybody (although it does bore my kids pretty quickly). The only downside I had with it is the length of time to set it up ~ there are SO many questions to get through in the beginning to get to the actual exercise part. This has been on my sons ds lite for a year. Now I want to sell the DS Lite and I am trying to remove from the case.. I read this a long time ago and I see it it true. This game is great in capturing the feel and copying the zombies from the many recent popular zombie movies.

Why? Does skill really mean nothing anymore? The 'million' zombies popping out of nowhere from a room is also a head scratcher. You get a mounted gatling type machine gun to use in some areas but it only turns a limited range and it just happens the zombies all attack from a side outside of its view. Why?

I'm not a hard-core gamer, and mostly I play console. But I purchased this game on Steam after playing Left4Dead (zombie FPS), and was sorely disappointed.

First, the good news: The game itself is OK. Kind of fun to play, somewhere between RPG-lite and FPS - not much of a plot, but I wasn't looking for some great revelation about humanity. I was looking for an open FPS experience.

The bad news: It's over rather quickly, and there are some issues with getting 'stuck' -- I don't try to test out games to their limits, and twice I found myself wedged behind an elevator, unable to escape without restarting, just because I decided to jump onto the platform or I walked too far to the edge. But mostly it was enjoyable as a casual game.Beyond being helpless behind an elevator whilst my friends were battling away, we had issues with multiplayer gaming. As a previous reviewer noted, there is no option to just play with your friends. We ended up hosting our own games, and then we had issues because certain ports needed to be opened... which you wouldn't know until you searched for the problem on the internet. Again previously noted by a reviewer, the menus do not have any kind of intuitive control, so for the first few hours of gaming it took me much longer than it should have to navigate the menus.

The worst part, however, came at the end. After the game ended rather abruptly (It's over? Already?), I was eager to get my hands on additional material... only to find out you must download DRM software.

Did I mention I own Borderlands through Steam? Steam provides DRM, in that I can only play it ON Steam. Soooo... why would I want ADDITIONAL DRM software that I cannot control on my machine?

After comparing the two, about the only positive thing I can say about this game is that it has good graphics. The competition has this game licked in the game play department. I bought this for my 10 year old daughter and I intend to return it asap. The game uses a logitech USB microphone that just doesn't work well with the wii. There's a delay in the microphone signal path that results in your audio coming out of the speakers about 200 milliseconds after you sing it (that's an educated quess). That's enough of a delay to make it basically unusable.

Low Price Guitar Hero World Tour

Where else can you jam to eye of the tiger, and battle ted nugent? No place else, but Guitar Hero World Tour. I'm really not into having a 'Career' in the game or playing 'gigs' of songs i've never heard so there are a lot of features that don't interest me... but this game is fun for all levels and types of people. It seemed like i had to play a few gigs to unlock the beauty that is 'La Bamba' so that was a pain, but i'm now fluent in latin-rock so not entirely bad.

The only downside is the incompatibility between Guitar Hero and Rock Band, but that is an overall franchise issue for the Wii, and not a knock on this game.

It seems like this round of console's most family friendly unit, the Wii, is getting some of the most gruesome games period. 2007's Manhunt 2 was pretty macabre, and last year's No More Heroes had you spilling buckets of blood and guts, but Platinum Games' Madworld one ups pretty much every game out there in terms of its satisfyingly brutal bloodshed. It's not a flawless game, but MadWorld is a thoroughly entertaining romp that Wii owner who are not faint of heart should definitely check out.

The story in MadWorld follows a sick sort of gladiatorial game called Death Watch. You play as a newcomer to the games, Jack. The story is pretty ridiculous, and not very interesting, but where the game truly shines is its humor, especially from Death Watch's two announcers, who had me laughing out loud through most of the game.

The gameplay is fairly standard fare for a Wii action game. You'll use the A and B buttons to perform basic attacks on enemies, and use various objects in the environment in combination with motion controls to perform some more complicated, and brutal attacks. But the name of the game in MadWorld is combos. Sure dicing an enemy up with a single swipe of Jack's handy chainsaw arm can net you some quick points, but when you string basic moves with the environmental attacks, and then end with one of the game's ridiculous finishers, you start rolling in the points.
Jack will even take a break from on foot carnage to enjoy some motorcycle manslaughter. These sequences, while refreshing, aren't really very polished, and definitely could've used some touching up.
While some might fear repetition after a while, MadWorld's gory mini games found in each level will keep things fresh. Every activity from playing "Man Darts" to splatting guys against the moon by hitting them with a golf club is worryingly hilarious, and simply a lot of fun.
MadWorld's gameplay also benefits greatly from its numerous bosses and mini-bosses, who serve as a refreshing break from the standard grunts, and lead to some pretty intense fighting. Not to mention that the finishers you get to pull on them are downright badass.

Obviously one of the huge draws of MadWorld is its unique graphical design. Every thing is black and white except for the blood red...er...blood. It's not exactly easy on the eyes, but it's definitely cool that the developers were willing to do something so risky. Some will love it, some will hate it, but all can admit there's nothing else quite like it in the realm of video games.

The sound department is excellent, the game has great sound effects, and a pretty awesome score of original rap songs, not to mention the pure awesomeness that are the Death Watch announcers (played by renowned voice actors Greg Proops and John DiMaggio.)

MadWorld doesn't last very long, only 5-6 hours, but it's definitely the kind of game you'll want to come back to if just to relive some of the ridiculous boss fights. It's also worth noting the game has a multiplayer mode, in which you and a friend compete in the various mini games seen in the game's story mode, but it's really not all that great.

MadWorld looks and sounds like nothing you've ever played before. Unfortunately it plays like a lot of games you've played before. But that's not all bad. While it is short, and can get repetitive, ultimately the insane action and awesome production values make MadWorld a game that's definitely worth adding to the mature Wii owner's library.Get more detail about MadWorld.

My daughter has used this about a total of 3 or 4 times. It now sits back in the box in the basement. Everytime it is a mess. It does NOT frost cupcakes in anything but a large blob of frosting. The frosting provided is gross, use your own or buy some pre-made frosting from your grocery store. Better yet -- Teach your sons and daughters how to make and frost cupcakes the real way - in a real oven, frosted with real frosting. That will be more educational, and the time they spend with you will be much more memorable and valuable to them. ( and you! )
