I really dont understand all the negativity here against this game. I have played a few other real-time-strategy games and this by far beats all of them hands down with AI, graphics and just the sheer depth of the game itself. I like the amount of planning and strategizing you can do in this game and how any decision you make can have such long lasting consequences down the road.

This game is a breath of WWII fresh air. If you can name 3 sandbox style games that let you run around in a beautiful city like Paris I'll give you a gold star. The very style of this game is unique. I like how game has shades of black and white to show areas that are still strongly occupied by the Nazis. There is a lot to do in the city besides the main story missions. The game plays a lot like any GTA type games I'm sure you've played. You can pretty much do what you want. Nevertheless; the story alone will pull you in with it's rich characters. The main character "Sean Devlin" is no nonsense, hard drinking, womanizing, chain smoking Irishman! I loved leading him through the streets of Paris to his next objective. Sean can do it all! Fight, check! Climb, check! Drive, Check! Yeah some of the controls are not as polished as they could be but they are not horrible by any means. The graphics are not up there with uncharted but they more than convey the story in good detail. More than anything; this is a WWII game that is not a FPS (first person shooter)and it delivers. Buying The Sims 3 Collector's Edition

Have been playing the sims starting with sim tower and moving through the sims collection, sims 2 (which I loved when it came out brought a whole new dimension) and now the sims 3 is even more amazing. Neighborhood play being able to leave your house and go about the town is great! If you enjoyed a sims game before, you are very likely to love this game. The new design elements are very nice. Only issue at this time there is no option for building your own neighborhood from scratch and I do miss that. I believe that you could take the entire town apart and start from scratch that way but I haven't tried actually doing that (yet).

It's a lot of fun. The new features are all terrific. Only tech issue that I've had is that if you remain idle too long, the screen gets dark and you cannot undo that without signing out of the game and then signing back on. So if you are up answering the door and get to chatting or have to run outside a minute, you either need to play with an unattractive dim screen or restart. The good thing is that if you save and exit, you do get to come back with the screen looking normal and your progress all saved.

I liked getting the bonus storage device with the collector's edition. It's practical and I get a lot of comments on it! It's a little bit extra but I think it's worth it. The alternate town you can download for free is pretty decent too. So at this point you choose between two neighborhoods of play.

There is an online exchange for customized items that players have created and also an online store. I bought some things with my free points (which is nice) but have not put any money into buying from the store. I got this game because I am interested in games where you have to build up your city and you are in charge of everything. After reading numerous reviews, I felt like I was promised that much and more in this game.

The game starts with you being crowned king of a country and you have to work to build it up and give people jobs, and have them join your army. What the reviews didn't tell me was that this game was kind of hard. Now, it may not be hard for gamers, but for someone like me, who doesn't really play video games, who got the wii because it was more family friendly it was hard.

There were points in the game where I had no idea what I was meant to be doing (no real help in the game, took me researching online to find answers). The game is also very repetitive, with you having to do the same things over and over again to raise money.

Also, make sure you save the game frequently. I didn't realize how important that was until I died 3 hours into playing the game and had to start all the way at the beginning again!

For those who are skeptical because you have played these songs before need to know that the gameplay is new for all songs. In career, you only need to play a select number of songs to unlock the next section, so at first I was only playing songs from the older games that I haven't played in a long time and skipping songs that are available on current games such as Guitar Hero World Tour and Rock Band 2. To my surprise when I did finally play those songs that the fingerings for guitar/bass are different. They didn't just take the current guitar gameplay and plop it into this game. Instead, they have updated the gameplay to not only have different fingerings (that in my opinion are mostly a vast improvement over the previous versions of these songs) but they also incorporate the newest styles of gameplay, such as three string chords & the three string hammer-on chords that we saw with the latest versions of guitar rhythm games. It makes all of these previously released songs fresh, new, and fun to play. Also, all the original artists are here, so all the cover songs from past games now have the original artists.

Being able to play drums and sing was enough to make me want to get this previously released material, but having new guitar fingerings for all these songs was a bonus I didn't expect. You also get all the online options from the currently released rhythm games.

This game is simply awful, I read many poor and so so reviews for this product, however, since it is the only college basketball game available this year and I am a huge fan of college basketball I purchased it. I truly regret this purchase, for the first two weeks I tried to overlook the countless glaring flaws, but I have now accepted the fact that I will never play this game again. The sole positive is this games presentation, the CBS and ESPN presentations are excellent, even though the dialog is often wrong and very repetitive that is the case with most sports games and is not that much of an issue. Where the problem lies is the control, it is dismal the players that you "control" running out of bounds back courts driving to the basket when you are trying to shoot a three pointer, the awful passing and lost dribbles, saving the ball from going out of bounds to the person you stole it from, rampant turnovers. What you do with the game pad has so little impact on what is happening on the screen it is unbearable. Double Dribble on the NES is a more realistic basketball sim than this and has better control and player movement. The destruction is present in the multiplayer, so if someone is camping from inside a house, you can just blow the house up with a tank, C4, RPG or helicopter.

There are two game-modes, Rush and Conquest. In Rush you are trying to destroy a pair of objectives while the other team defends.

In Conquest you capture control points, and whichever team has the majority of the control points will cause the other team to lose their reinforcements. Its complicated to explain, but let me tell you, it is very, very fun.

I was really exited about this game, I played it on xbox 360 and it was awesome, but when I played mine i was just disappointed.

Sonic Unleashed This instant

This is the best Sonic I've ever played even though I missed the last one and Sonic Adventure 2. Most people hate the werehog levels but it's good platforming in its own way. I like how you can level up your abilities with the experience points you get for killing enemies. That gives it a RPG like dimension. The graphics are incredible, the sound is awesome, the control is perfect, and the speed in the daytime levels is almost too fast. The mixing of 2D and 3D gameplay works great in the daytime levels. A lot of people gripe about the camera angles but I haven't had any problems with it. There are a few areas where Sonic is boxed in but I manually move the camera in those situations. im rating for the $20 price, since im not a multi-player of big shooter fan. and it takes a lot for me to finally get bored of a game. meaning ive played this a few times over since i bought it (few months ago). in most cases i just aim to complete the story, and add it to a library of games i dont often return to. note : i didnt play the first, and havent followed most of the Star Wars game releases.

this title has training and story modes that introduce and elaborate, but the meat of the modes is the galactic conquest mode. it kinda looks like a board game on the surface, and you move your flagships towards new planetary/over planet space battles in turns. in this mode you can play several different variations of rebels, elite guards, and droids(clone wars?). theres bonuses to buy and units to train, so it gives the impression of tactics..until you land and shoot everyone you can again - i think it balances nicely. best thing though, is how well all the worlds are rendered. the environments can add challenge and scope to any fight. at a great price in a greatest hits re-release (so you know a lot of people enjoyed it), its an endlessly replayable game. try it out!Get more detail about Star Wars Battlefront II.

This is possibly the single worst game that I have played on the Wii. The controls are, to use appropriate language, a complete joke. The games are also not that fun to begin with. Game Party 3 Buy Now

We have played nearly every game on Game party 3 and so far have not had any problems with the controls. I had originally purchased the original Game Party when it had come out and found it enjoyable for what it is. These are nice games to sit down with friends and family and play together, the graphics aren't amazing but the game in itself is enjoyable, and this version has a lot included. I gave my original Game Party to a friend that really liked it since this edition has all of the games included from the other previous editions- which I think is a good value.
I am pretty certain that the publishers intent was not to win game of the year with this title, it is a family game, and it does that pretty well.
The youngest person to play this with us was ten, the oldest fifty-six and so far everyone has enjoyed it and been able to work the controls just fine.

MySims Order Now

I am a 43 yr old mom and i purchased this for something to do whilst recovering from surgery. It did the job and i made it to the 5 stars, however, i am now very bored. I don't know the point in continuing to play. I have played several Harvest Moon games and like to play them even after the game is "conquered" because there is still something to do.

I was also surprised to see several "goth" type characters in this game. There are essences you need to collect to make items for people. Some of those essences are ghosts, scary faces, black apples, bloody eyeballs, jack-o-lantern, just to name a few. It sorta harshed my buzz on the cuteness factor and was unnecessary, in my opinion.

This is just what it looks like - a collection of Sega Genesis titles for the 360, complete with updated graphics, achievements and save capability.

The collection is a decent cross-section of the platform's offerings, with the noticable exception of sports games, which are totally absent. Most of the classics are here though, like Sonic, Streets of Rage and Ecco. There are also a few deep cuts and the occasional "why did this one make the cut?" choice, but as a whole the collection is solid, especially when counting the nine unlockable games.

The achievements (33 total) are a curious lot. Not all the games have them, and the ones that do have only one as far as I've seen. Sometimes they're involved (like unlocking Roo as a playable character in Streets of Rage 3) and other times they're almost ridiculously easy (like "Get a Chaos Emerald" in Sonic). Most are worth 30G. I would have liked to see more achievements worth less. That way each of the 40 primary games could get 25G and have multiple achievements. Instead of having only one achievement for Sonic the Hedgehog 3 ("Get 100 Rings with Tails in the first level" for 30G), we could get four or five ("Beat the game in any mode" (5G), "Get 100 Rings with Tails in the first level" (5G), "Get a perfect on a Special Stage" (10G), "Collect all the Chaos Emeralds" (5G)).

The "Save" feature is very nice, meaning you don't have to have a five-hour session to beat a particular game. The listing of the games is also a nice touch: you can do it alphabetially, by genre, by release date. Players can also rate the games on a scale of 1 to 5 and sort the games by their ratings.

The graphics have also improved, though not so much so they don't still feel like the originals (think what the memory add-on for the N64 did to that console's standard games and you get the idea). This is accomplished via a widescreen option and a smoothing option (like the Genesis titles you can get on the Xbox Live Arcade).

My 11-year old sister loves Littlest Pet Shop. I think she is too old for it, but then again I am in no hurry for her to mature either and they are adorable little animals! A few weeks ago I wrote a post about the New Littlest Pet Shop Friends game and Littlest Pet Shop Online. When my sister saw that I received the New Littlest Pet Shop Friends "Country" to review, she was beyond excited! She opened it and put it in her Nintendo DS faster than I could ask her if she wanted to play it!

Littlest Pet Shop Country Friends is not just a game where you tae care of animals, it is jam packed with mini-games, dress up, and actually has a task to accomplish! The point of the game is to get your pets ready for a big celebration, so you have to deliver invitations, pick up food, and explore towns. The cool part of this game is that you can play two-player multi-player via a Nintendo Wi-Fi connection (unfortunately we weren't able to try this feature out.)

Your child may think they know all the Littlest Pet Shop pets, but Country Friends contains six exclusive country pets to collect! I think my favorite part was styling my pets, as I always loved dress up and accessories! My sisters was exploring and the mini-games. Now I have never played a Littlest Pet Shop game before so I don't have anything to compare this to, but I think the game is cute and fun. It is perfect for any Littlest Pet Shop fan and really for all ages. There are also a few other versions of the Littlest Pet Shop Friends Collection that include: City and Beach. All of the Littlest Pet Shop Friends games feature new pets to play with, enjoy, and have a story line.

Save Cabela's Dangerous Hunts '09

We have the Dangerous Hunts for the Xbox (the first Xbox not the 360) and we enjoyed playing that often. When I saw this game I thought it would be fun to have it for the Wii. It is nothing like the older one for the Xbox! You can't pick your own hunts like the older version and you have to do what the game tells you. We only made it through a few hunts before we decided to give up. We liked having options of what to hunt and where, with this game you have no options. I understand it's a dangerous hunts which means you will be attacked along the way but some of the things you have no way of seeing until you are getting attacked like the bees and snakes! We just feel this game was a huge waste of money and it's sitting on the bottom of our game pile with us not having any desire to play it ever again. Sometimes games don't need changed too much and this is a huge example of that!

Cheap Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood

First I would like to point out the obvious flaws of this game. The checkpoint system is horrible and every time there is a checkpoint it will freeze for around a second no gamebreaker but kinda of annoying. Also at times your guns will go through objects and the game is repetitive but finds interesting ways to keep it fresh. The reason I gave the game 5 stars is because of how much fun I had with it and how underrated it is. The story of this one is great and voicework for the characters is pretty good they will sound westerny all the way, the characters are also pretty intriguing but its possible to get annoyed by William at times because he comes off with a sort of whinny attitude(Kinda weird how I gained respect for him through the course of the story). The story mode is pretty long for a fps and there are various settings and some free roam sections, you can also upgrade your weapons to get that ugly rusty look out of them. The story is slow at first but picks off in later chapters and the ending is epic, this game is a prequel but it can stand alone as its own beast.You can play as either Ray or Thomas each with his different pros and cons, Ray being mostly the strong one and Thomas the more agile one. The multiplayer is actually great and will keep you hooked for a while and the community is decent. You unlock classes as you earn money from matches and gradually the more money you have the better your weapons will look I have gotten to the "prime" state so far. To be honest I enjoyed this game more than killzone 2 and for the price I found it at it was a steal. I highly recommend this game and you can find it very cheap these days so its definitely worth. If you love westerns you can't go wrong with this one.

Rapala: We Fish with Rod Bundle Top Quality

I wanted to play this game for a while before I made a review to give a fair review.
First of all, I bought the game because I like games bundled with little toys. I really enjoyed Sega Bass Fishing, as well as the Bass Pro Shops Fishing.
That said, this game is in another class. First problem I had was with the rod attachment. Half the time you're driving the boat, and it feels awkward with this attachment. Secondly, the nunchuck cord kept getting tangled. I ditched the attachment within the first hour. OKAY, now we're talking! The game's objective is different from any other fishing game. You must catch fish by going to a designated bubble point and fish. You must have the right bait, because if you don't the fish will look at the bait with question marks around it's head. So you switch baits until the fish eyes pop out and exclamation points appear around the fish. You reel in the fish, the nunchuck cord still gets tangled and you reel the fish in. There is a problem with this process at the later levels though. You must move the wiimote the same way as the on-screen diagram. The only problem is the wiimote must be turned sideways and then you shake it to the left or right. Moving the wiimote sideways and to the left is a very awkward and uncomfortable movement. After you reel the fish in, you drive back to your starting point and drop the fish off.
Driving the boat is another BIG problem. you must direct the boat by way of wiimote. the wiimote only turns the boat like 45 degrees. So what happens is you crash into barriers. Also, when you back the boat up, the wiimote seems to turn the boat the wrong way.
As the game goes on, you can unlock your Mii, but your Mii cannot be used in Tournament Mode, only in the Free Fishing Mode :-(

The only thing I had to do "extra" with this game was to reset the lag calibration because I use an old CRT TV and not an HDTV, which probably won't need that extra work if that's what you use. I found the game in the adventure section but there is nothing adventurous about the game. The object of the game so go different parts of the land (graphics leave much to be desired) to destroy these Colossi. No problem...well that's the problem there is nothing else to do. Just kill these couple few Colossi and that's it. What the fetch! To make matters worse trying to actually maneuver the main character or his horse was near impossible. This is a very fun game.
Briefly, concerning the other reviews, you can naviagte on the board. There are easy, medium, and expert skill levels.
There is a free skate mode as well.

This game has everything all the other tony hawk games have in it. There is a learning curve though with the board. You wont start playing it and instantly be a pro. once you have gained control with the board the game is extremely fun to play.
The bad reviews you read are from people who haven't gotten past the learning curve.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars Decide Now

I have several of the previous gta games -- both for PC and PSP -- and have always enjoyed the series ... until now.

Although the game looks nice, the control scheme is difficult and load times are long. This is the most crash-prone game I have ever played on the PSP. Certain parts of the city will not load up properly, and if I go there the game will crash.

Perhaps Rockstar has devised a patch for the game, but I have not found one yet.

Rock Band is a really fun game with a lot of good songs.

-the loading time even for a PS3 still takes a bit of time to load up.
-the medium mode is too easy but the hard mode is too hard. There should be more consistency in the medium mode.

Discount DS Lite Nerf Armor - Black/White

This has been on my sons ds lite for a year. Now I want to sell the DS Lite and I am trying to remove from the case.. I read this a long time ago and I see it it true. It is almost impossible to remove with doing damage to the DS itself or destroying the Nerf case. I will have to be cut off. Because of the I will lower my rating. My son DS lie has one of the rare pokemon special addition prints that I would like to show when selling so I don't a a single scratch on it. Now I can't offer the case in the sale because it has to be cut off. I will look for other protective casees in the future because of this.

Other wise I have seen several claims regarding this unit smelling. Sounds crazy. Case serves it's purpose.

Order IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey

The game is fun, best WWII flight sim on xbox. I havn't played it all the way through, so I can't say how it turns out. The flight dynamics are good, the planes look great, and it is challenging without being a total bust. The dogfights are great, and Battle of Britan with hundreda of planes over London is really cool. Messerschmidt 262 is a beast! So, if you're REALLY into WWII, and have to be in a plane over London or Berlin, on xbox, this is your best bet. BUT...if you want all out kick-butt, never want to stop playing, OMG this is insane, seat of your pants action in a FPS, get Call of Duty4/Modern Warfare, or the equally insane Call of Duty/Modern Warfare2. The reason I haven't played IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey all the way through is I've been unable to stop playing COD/MW2, and the previous release, COD4/MW, game of the year last year. Both are extremely well done in playability and overall design. Oh, just an FYI, if you're thinking of a race sim type game, Forza3 is a good choice. I like race sims, but I'm not Mario Andretti, so the frustration of continually crashing, and having to restart the races was not so good. Forza3 has a nice feature, it's called 'rewind'. What a great idea, you just push the < button on your controller, and the race rewinds 15 seconds. Not enough?...push it again. Makes first place finishes a regular thing. The game looks fantastic too. Lots of expensive German and Italian steel and leather none of us normal humans will ever be able to own.
