I bought Clubhouse Games for Nintendo DS for my grandson because he wants to learn to play chess and I thought he could use this game to practice. I have one of these that I got a couple of years ago. I just love it. I play many of the games but my favorite is Grid Attack. This game is somewhat like the battleship games where you blow up the other guy's ships. But the twist here, is you can play with four players. It really increases the options and hence the risk. If you are an adult already familiar with board games and card games, many of them are available on this disk, perfect for pastime fun. If you are a child, like my 9 year old grandson, this disk is perfect for practicing your skill at these games. This disk is not fancy. You don't shoot at invaders or race against the clock. Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution III Immediately

Bought this about two weeks ago and it's off the hook. I've been waiting since the gamecube days to pick up a Naruto fighting game, but there have always been some described shortcomings in each. Finally we reach this game and still this trend is present. Though the game is loaded with characters and other unlockables, some aspects of this game are still lagging. Lag, actually in itself is one problem, which occurs without fail during online matches and occasionally when there's too many characters on the screen. Also the graphics don't seem to have improved much from game to game. In the scheme of things, these problems are minimal, but sit as a representation of what this game could have been. Perhaps the next installment will fix these problems, but for now, we do have this awesome game to enjoy. Don't get the wrong impression here, there is soooo much still to enjoy in this title and as the first reviewer said, it's extremely addictive. If you're an avid Naruto fan with a Wii, picking this game up is obviously a no-brainer. Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Game of the Year Edition Best Quality

This is no doubt one of my favorite games of all time (well, right now, my top 5 are Super Smash Bros Brawl, Mass Effect, KotOR, Bioshock, and the Modern Warfare duo)

It's hard to give a graphical description of how it is, so I will rate it by different categories

Design: Outstanding campaign, strong multiplayer, and arcade mode is a nice touch. The campaign is the best part though; I've played the last mission so many times because of the way it shows the endgame so well and how dramatic it looks. It has you looking through your guy's eyes as he lies on the ground injured and sees the lead bad guy of the game start approaching you. Suddenly a helicopter explodes over his head and he turns around. During that time your captain tosses you his pistol from 10 feet away, and you are charged to make the last shots in your disoriented position! hard to explain, but you'll understand it when you play it and see every moment like this one.

Gameplay: This is the best part. As explained, the interaction is incredibly cinematic, everything is accurately put together, and there are plenty of distinct modern weapons with their attachments that you will grow to love using. The multiplayer in mass battles can be a bit messy, but with about 20 people it feels just right.

Graphics: unbelievable. Was runner up in most places to the best graphics of the year (Crysis, which unfortunately for COD came out in the same year, took it, that came consequently cannot look better). The developers really did a great job to make you feel like you are a soldier, with all the brilliant environments, animations, particle effects, and character models.

Sound: Great orchestrated music and nice sound effects. Unfortunately in this category I'm not sure how to say more than that.

Lasting Appeal: Nice hefty campaign with some replay value in it if you haven't beaten it on Veteran mode yet and you want to strive for it. Multiplayer will keep you going for a while as well.

THE BOX COPY IMPRESSIONS
There's not much that the box copy will do bad to you except for the fact that unless you have the disc inserted you can't play the single player. You can play multiplayer without it though.

Gameplay- Graphics A LOT better this time around. Otherwise game play is pretty much the same. 4.5/5.

Franchise- Not even close as deep as a Madden franchise but still very fun. Trades are easy on the show compared to Madden. 4/5.

Overall Review- This game is worth it to any baseball fan, hardcore or casual. The gameplay on this game is way better than 2K9 and should be any baseball fans library, but improvements are subtle if any.

MX vs ATV Reflex Right now

MX vs. ATV reflex is big improvement over past MX vs. ATV titles. The graphics are excellent and the new reflex control system works really well. However, the online game play is ridiculous; you have to wait 30 to 45 minutes in a loading area for a match to start. After it does, no telling what will happen. Sometimes it works and you get to race but, most of the time it tosses you out after ½ a lap or so. Please do some research before buying this game for online multiplayer on Xbox Live.

Buying PSP 3000 Limited Edition Hannah Montana Entertainment Pack

I recently bought this PSP and have been loving it so far! The color is great, has a subtle sparkle to it, and is a nice tone of light purple/lilac. Plus, it's not a glossy finish, so it won't attract fingerprints. I bought this bundle once I saw the price had dropped from $199 to $159 -- over $40 in savings. You get a 2GB Sony Pro Duo memory stick, Hannah Montana game, 3 HM episodes on UMD, and some stickers for those who wish to decorate their PSP. I chose this bundle mainly for the price and especially because of the color. Besides the black, silver, and new white PSP 3000, there really is no "girly" color available in the U.S. I would've been happy with a white PSP, but at $159, buying this bundle was a no-brainer. As of 12/11 (date of this review), the price is still $159 + shipping. I'd definitely recommend getting this bundle at that price. It's definitely a "bang for your buck" purchase.

The PSP itself is fantastic. I've been very impressed with the titles offered. I recommend Little Big Planet, PSOne Classics like Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon, and Patapon. The PSP has great graphics and games are a pleasure to look at. The speakers of the PSP go up reasonably high so you'll be fine with that. In addition to gaming, the PSP does a ton of other stuff. You can play UMD movies (have played the Hannah Montana episodes and they look great), listen to music (I've loaded a few songs onto my PSP and it works fine), go online (have gone on Google and while it isn't the best browser, it's nice to have), make Skype calls (works perfectly when I tried this), listen to internet radio (lots of stations available), download comics from the upcoming digital comics store, as well as download games/videos straight from the PlayStation Network onto your PSP. Plus more! It is really an all in one device.

A few downsides, though. It's a Sony device, so they will make you use memory stick pro duo, not more common formats. I didn't really mind since we have a few Sony Cybershots at home, but for others, it can be a pain. On that note, 2gb won't cut it if you plan on downloading games and loading your memory stick with music, photos, and other content. I purchased an 8gb memory card for extra storage for games and saved data. It'll fill up in the long run, so it's best to get a bigger pro duo if you know you'll be having a lot of content on there. Another thing; right out of the box, you can't download games or go on the PSN. The firmware version of the PSP I got was 5.50, so you'll need to upgrade yourself to 6.20 to access PSN and use Media Go (think iTunes for PSP) to sync games and other content to your PSP. It's not a big deal, but a hassle in some ways. Media Go is real easy to use, but upgrade before proceeding to using it. Battery life is mediocre at best. I usually get a few hours depending on how much I play, but I guess I've just been spoiled with the amazing battery life of the DS. But on another note, if I play only about 1-2 hours a day on the PSP I can easily get up to 2 days without charging, so it just depends on your use.

In all, the PSP is buying. As for the bundle, I probably won't be playing the Hannah Montana game much, but it's nice to have, as well as the tv shows. Besides that, I highly recommend getting this bundle. The color looks great and the system itself is just as good. If you have been looking into the PSP, go for it. There are great games available, and with all that you can do with your PSP, you won't get bored anytime soon!

Here are a few recommendations for your PSP:
-Upgrade to firmware 6.20 right away to use the PSN and Media Go if you'd like to do that.
-Get a bigger memory stick. Pro duo's vary in price but I found an 8gb SanDisk pro duo for about $25.
-Get a screen protector. The screen is nice and bright, but can easily attract scratches and fingerprints without one. (recommend Hori brand)

Take advantage of the table instructions feature. It's very handy to learn all the features of each table before you play it. I learned a number of facts I'd never knew before about some of my favorites like Space Shuttle, Black Knight.

If you've ever enjoyed a well designed pinball game, you will find plenty to amuse here. This accessory pack is not worth the $15 plus $3 shipping I paid. I estimate it to be worth about $10 total, give or take a dollar. Everything in the pack is cheap, with the hard case being the best of the low quality items. Purchased this game last week new from Amazon and was expecting it to work like the trial version. Had problems installing it on my laptop running Vista 64-bit. Installed it on my desktop computer running Windows XP-pro but was not able to login to access Spore's online features. I called E.A. tech support and did a complete uninstall/reinstall on both computers. I was able to follow their detailed instructions and get both machines to install and open the game but could still not login online features. I then deleted the "login.prop" file they suggested doing, logged-in again and it still doesn't work. It says "product key is invalid" & "you do not have proper privileges to access Spore's online features".
If you like Spores and want to play offline (without sharing and playing with others) then take your chance and purchase the game. If you expect to use all the features that are described for the game, wait until E.A. fixes this problem . Got it for my daughter who needed a bit more practice with math than I had time to give her. She didn't understand this at first. Played each game with her and now loves it. She is at level 2 (it has 3 levels for like 5 mini-games I believe it is). Wish there was more on this cartridge, but pleased with what is. My 4 year old has played a bit too and can see him into it just as much within a year.

Low Price Jumpstart Pet Rescue

I would like to start off by saying, no I don't usually review things. I just don't have the time. I felt so strongly about warning other people, that I was prompted to write this.

My 4 year old son was upset when 70% of the game time was spent "LOADING". No, he doesn't have ADD. Most 4 year olds would forget this game was loading and walk away. He had such a bad experience playing this, he hasn't asked to play it beyond the first time. I explored it myself so I could show him what was fun. It was a huge disappointment.
Just because letters are used in a game doesn't make it educational. Here is an example of Jump Start's idea of educational. For the letter A, you can use 4 things that start with the letter A in a virtual sticker book. Kids can mindlessly place 4 stickers that have nothing to do with anything. I have actually purchased computer games for my older daughter from Jump Start in the past. The games were good. This was not. If you waste your money on this, you will be upset with yourself and sad for your child. Also, I seriously question the legitimacy of the positive reviews. A better use of your money may be to purchase an actual sticker book.

Save Sonic Unleashed

Sonic Unleashed is the first 3d sonic game I have purchased since the Dreamcast days and its a pretty good game that does somethings right and well to be blunt a few things went the wrong direction. The story is pure stupid. A little kid might find more value in the story than I did. The only plus to the story is the cutscenes do look good.

Graphically I think the game looks good enough but I think the Wii can handle a little bit of an effort. I will give this game the benefit of saying the character models do look good. As far as sound goes there is nothing really wrong with it but the voice acting did get on my nerves a bit. Again if I was a little kid the voice acting probably would not have bothered me as much. The interface is pretty basic but it is designed nice enough to get the job done.

Gameplay wise the day levels are nothing short of the word great. Where the game falls into mediocrity is the Wherehog levels. They are not terrible levels but there are way too many of them. I have been playing with the classic controller so the controls do work pretty good and you get a few different options including Gamecube controllers as well. I think if the game had more day levels and maybe half the amount of Wherehog levels this game could of been great. Get more detail about Sonic Unleashed.

Cheap PlayStation 2 Memory Card (8MB)

Fake Sony 8MB PS2 cards can be found for much less than the too-expensive legit Sony-made versions. However, saved game corruption are significant, and build quality is very poor. I bought one Sony-made 8MB memory off Amazon through a 3rd party, presuming it was a real Sony-made item. Yes, it was 1/4 the price of the real thing, but some games didn't even recognize it or simply gave corrupted saves 100% of the time (such as MGS3 Subsistence), while others didn't seem to care (such as MGS2 Substance).

The card rattled, too, due to a lose board inside the case. It didn't fit smoothly into the PS2's memory slot, either. Spelling errors on the back was my first indication it was fake, but comparing it to a known legit Sony card, it was quite obvious.

"Star Wars: The Force Unleashed" had the potential to be a great game: incredible graphics, interesting story, and the whole Star Wars universe to work with. While the game comes out looking fantastic, it's ruined by horrible playability. Simply put: this game is what I have always feared RPG games would be. The camera has a hard time following you; I died numerous times simply because the camera shifted to where both the Apprentice AND his opponent weren't on-screen. And the controls are sluggish; if you want to strike with your light saber, you have to anticipate when you'll use it, and press the button about a second in advance (in case you're wondering, your enemies don't have the same hesitation). And don't even think of trying to swing your light saber while in midair; you will simply hang in the air, executing an impressive-looking combo, while your enemies are free to shoot you at their leisure.

Maybe it was just the system I played on (PS3), but "The Force Unleashed" had far too many flaws for my taste. Get this: there's the option to save during a game, at any time you want...but you can't load from where you saved, you can only load from where the game automatically saved you (which isn't always in a logical spot; I walked away after spending a couple hours trying to defeat a difficult character--thanks, crappy camera--and then, when I finally beat it, I died immediately afterward by falling into a pit because the camera couldn't keep up with me, and had to start over BEFORE the battle). The loading time, too, is unbelievably slow; and you have to load a lot--there are even loading times to go between menu options!

Ultimately, I feel let down by "The Force Unleashed." Is it an incredible-looking game? Oh yes. Is it fun? Yeah, until you get so frustrated you want your money back. I gave it three stars because I have the feeling I will return to it in a few weeks, once I've gotten a few other games out of my system, and have the time to just die repeatedly. Now what im going to say is very absurd, but I think of this game like a gears of war and call of duty game made for kids!

I have finished both campaigns autobots and decepticons, and after a while the game looked like a gears of war game made for kids! why? because it's in third person, has guns and you can do that rolling thingy across the floor.

The campaign is fairly short and the cool thing is that ever charcter has its special ability ( bumblebee:sting, Ratchet: heal etc) and the game has free roam. The aiming situation was always bad for the first game but the controls are easier to use now and you can aim by yourself. The graphics are really good for both the xbox 360 and the ps3.

You can climb on buildings, transform with one button and each character has two guns/turrets each ( Bumblebee missle luancher and machine gun. The sniping with sideways adds a bit of call of duty in it and the game has HUD or that indicator when you get shot or hit. There is also capture the flag, team deathmatch and deathmatch so you see what i mean. BTW you can also punch.

What can i say its another svr game it has its good and bad about it sometimes the bad outweigh the good but its still a fun game to play with friends and if you dont have friends to play with then the game can get boring fast because the online players are horrible because there all Clones with the same moves Gore and Spike Head butt and other specials for regular moves. The Sd games were at there best when it was exclusive to PS and if Yukes and THQ would just build off HCTP and other awesome titles they did before the svr and multi platform stuff started we would have a pretty awesome game by now and probably years before also testing the games for bugs and glitches before release would be great and if they dont have time which is ridiculous then they should run a patch on the things that they didn't catch. Katamari Forever

Having been a big katamari fan for a while, I purchased this despite the lukewarm reviews. My basic impression is that this is a 'best of katamari' compilation updated for PS3.
