Luckily I rented this title from Gamefly and didn't buy it. My son is really into Bakugan so I know how the rules of the card/toy game go. This game has a big departure from the standard rules. Your Bakugan's G-Power really doesn't come into play much because victory is determined on how quickly and accurately you can use the stylus. The G-Power will give you an edge but you can't win a battle without doing the "mini-game" with the stylus (rubbing it back and forth quickly, tapping icons, or following an icon around a track). This eliminates some of the strategy from this game that is present in the card/toy game. Still... I found it mildly addictive but I can see that I'd get tired of it quickly. Kids who are fans of the TV show will probably love it because it has their favorite characters and their Bakugan. However, kids who play the card game will probably be dissatisfied because of the way the game departs from the rules they know.Get more detail about Bakugan Battle Brawlers.
