I didn't find too many options out there for decent wireless headsets. I bought these and returned them the same day, since the cons outweighed the pros for my use (primarily MW2).
Pros:
- Sounds effects add to the audio experience
- Comfortable over the ear fit
Cons:
- Not out of the box compatible with Xbox 360 Elite or other newer premium systems if you are using HDMI, since since there are no built in RCA audio jacks. Microsoft made the included AV cable with these systems such that you can't plug it in along with a HDMI cable. The AV cable blocks the HDMI slot. You can spend $40 on the Microsoft HDMI AV cable ($10 on eBay for a knockoff) which is thinner if you want to use HDMI with this headset. Alternatively, you can hack the included cable (look on YouTube for tutorial)or use the RCA audio out jacks on your tv (if you have them).
- Noticeable latency (<1 sec) between tv speaker audio and headphone audio.
- Very cheap quality. I thought the battery cover would break while removing it...
- Your voice might echo in the game lobby of MW2, or be very faint. I experienced both.
- Audio hiss
